"Always surprised by where my mind is taken after each prompt. No pre-requisites! Attend with an active mind and an open reception of the senses! Workshop is facilitated with so much warmth and equity and is great for developing new, creative content! Highly recommend!"
– Khashayar Mohammadi "Vannessa’s workshops are such a welcoming, safe, and inspiring space. I’ve rarely felt as comfortable sharing my work as I do at Legible Intelligibles. Vannessa goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone is having fun, while providing subtle yet effective structure to help fuel and guide your creative energy and make sure that you get the most out of the experience."

"Vannessa makes utopian poetry moments happen. In the park or in quarantine, she’s attentive to the needs of her readers and gently challenges us to try as hard as we’re comfortable, with glad jokes and an infectious love for the craft and passion of poetry. Legible Intelligibles was worth going out for and is worth staying in for."
– Miles Forrester "I have attended several poetry-related events hosted by Vannessa, including readings, workshops, and 1-on-1 discussions. Vannessa provides thoughtful, inclusive facilitation that is suited to both new and experienced writers. Vannessa is good at handling groups of people and navigating the complexities of online hosting. Vannessa is extremely passionate and this comes across naturally in these workshops. I would highly recommend Vannessa to anyone looking for a facilitator or someone to sit down with and talk about writing."
